MULTI SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
A new role has come to market with my client who are a leading provider of innovative and comprehensive packaging solutions across the UK. The company manufacture plastic packaging mainly for the food industry and have extrusion, thermoforming, in-mould labelling and printing machines.
Integrating into a highly skilled maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out corrective and planned activities across a range of machinery within the production department.

Shift Pattern: 3 on 3 off, rotating days and nights. 7am – 7pm & 7pm - 7am

What are they looking for in return
-
Maintain, and troubleshoot operational equipment.

Experience in preventative maintenance (PPMs)
-
Must have proven ability in diagnostic fault finding

Experience in PLC Control systems, and PLC fault finding experience would be beneficial.

Review and complete work order assignments.

Independently observe, report, and correct facility and equipment discrepancies.

Experience with Thermoformers beneficial

Be proactive in preventing equipment failures and improving overall equipment performance by generating and implementing ideas and modifications

Apprenticeship within Electrical/Mechanical/Maintenance Engineering or similar field
-
Time-served (4+ years) with Mechanical or electrical bias to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent)

Post apprenticeship, FMCG or Food background
